The NASHA technology of Galderma Laboratories involves the extraction of hyaluronic acid, a sugar molecule, from Streptococcus bacteria. The hyaluronic acid of Restylane® Lyft 1ml is a highly purified and modified compound that has no impurities and has similar properties to the hyaluronic acid naturally found in the body. Furthermore, the addition of BDDE cross-links to Restylane® Lyft 1ml’s hyaluronic acid creates a sturdy structure that can withstand the degradation in the body for a longer period of time.
As the body ages, the concentration of hyaluronic acid in the skin depletes, thus reducing skin volume and integrity. By replenishing the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin, the volume of the skin is elevated and becomes more plump and smooth. Hyaluronic acid attract water molecules, which leads to the stimulation of collagen and elastin; the stimulation of these substances helps smoothen defined wrinkles on the skin while adding a youthful radiance.
Restylane® Lyft 1ml is thick and firm in order to conform to the dermis’s structure. The thickness and firmness of Restylane® Lyft 1ml enables it to be a durable, bio-resorbable implant that can mold easily into the desired shape. Use Instructions

How Do I Use Or Apply Restylane®?

Prior to treatment with this product, the licensed practitioner should inform their patient of all precautions, indications, side effects, warnings, and expected results, as well as the option to include Lidocaine for ease of treatment. The patient’s face should be cleaned through the use of soap, water, and an antiseptic solution.
Attach the thin 29G needle into the syringe’s Luer-Lok adapter carefully. Remove all excess air by gently pushing the plunger rod until a small droplet appears at the tip of the needle. Advance and administer the gel into the deep dermis or superficial subcutis to correct moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles. Use the serial puncture technique, the linear threading technique, or both for this process.
For cheek and other midface contour augmentation, the gel is indicated for subcutaneous to supra-periosteal implantation. Use the cross-hatching technique for this treatment.
Avoid any overcorrection. The maximum dose for each session should be 2ml. If the client’s skin requires more volume, split the initial treatment into two or more separate sessions.
After the injection, massage the treated area(s) to distribute the gel and allow it to conform to the contours of the surrounding tissues. After use, dispose of the syringes and needles and excess product or Lidocaine, in accordance with medical, local, and federal requirements.

How Long Do Results Last?

Depending on the area(s) of treatment, the facial remodeling effect of this filler lasts up to 12 months.
In regards to the smoothening and reduction of nasolabial folds, this product lasts up to six months.
Use the gel prior to the expiration date printed on the packaging and store it at a temperature of up to 25°C. Avoid exposing this product to freezing or extreme temperatures.

How Long Does The Treatment Take?

Treatment with this product should take about 30 minutes. The results are immediate and can be natural-looking. However, it is advisable to apply an ice pack onto the treated area(s) to reduce swelling or bruising. The treated skin should also not be subject to prolonged exposure to the sun, UV rays, and extreme hot and cold temperature until the initial swelling, redness, and other side effects subside.
